One more day of work before our Vegas vacation!! I can't wait! This is the longest time between Vegas trips. I think it's been two years. And I've probably been every year since 2000. It's also the first real trip away from my Gibs. I don't know how I'll handle it. The older he gets the harder it is for me to leave him somewhere for very long. He's so much fun now. Going to work all day is more difficult than when I first went back.
Last night Casey's cousin, Katie had her High School graduation. Yikes, I met her 7 years ago and she was just a little kid. So weird. All the "little kids" in his family I met 7 years ago are so grown up now. It's strange.
Tomorrow night is Casey's mom's birthday dinner. We're going to a rib place that I don't really care THAT much for, I guess I'm not a rib person. So I could take it or leave it.
And then Friday morning we are leaving for Vegas. Casey's mom is coming over around 8am and we plan to leave by 9. Rochelle is going to drive. It's pretty cool because we've always been the taxi drivers out to Vegas and our friends hitched a ride with us. So it will be nice for a change.
